As for other news... I received English 1143 today and made a 95% on my test! Not too bad!! I don't have to work tonight so I get to go to church!!! I am totally excited!!! I have more to post but I gotta' run for now. Be back soon!!

In Loving Memory...

Of my Uncle Paul. Two years ago today Jesus called him home. We received a phonecall when we went on morning break at school that Uncle Paul was gone. I was always close to him and looked forward to seeing him every year. I remember us talking that last year he was here, about my taking him on a ride the next year, cause' then I'd have my permit. The last thing that I remember about him, was him hugging me and telling me that he loved me and was looking forward to seeing me drive for him next year. His last words to me were this, "Keep serving Jesus, Holly! I love you and I'll see you next year!" I hugged him again and left with my parents. Little did I know that that was last time I would hug him on this side of eternity... right at three weeks later Uncle Paul was in Heaven singing with the angels and worshipping at the feet of Jesus!

Uncle Paul, I miss you and love you very much! I'm so happy that you don't have to worry about giving yourself shots and taking medicine anymore, cause' now you're in a perfect body! No matter how much I miss you, I couldn't ask you to come back. You have been praising Jesus for two years and have been walking on the streets of gold! Oh how beautiful Heaven must be!!

Give Justin a hug for me and wait by the pearly gates cause' I'll be there to meet you in the morning!

I have so many family members over on the other side now that Heaven seems doubly sweet to me now! Most of all I want to see my Saviour and fall down and worship Him for He is worthy of all praise and honor! I am getting SO homesick for Heaven!!! I can't wait to go home!

A little St. Patricks Day Humor!

Surrounded By Love...

That's how I would describe how I felt on my Birthday. I do believe that this was my best birthday yet. I awoke to flowers and a balloon from my wonderful parents. I had a great breakfast and set off for school. upon my arrival, I was met at the door with cries of "Happy Birthday!" All day long, everyone was so sweet and did their best to give me the best birthday ever. From 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. my day was scattered with phone calls and text messages wishing me the best birthday ever. Family that was not here, friends from all around took time to let me know that I was being thought of. When I got to work about 3:45 I was given a gift from Wesley and Piper, two sweet little kids who go to church with me. Then, I was given an adorable pastry from Beth and her husband, David. The crew with whom I was supposed to work was, Miss Di, Beth, Stephanie and Sandy. Well, Beth got called in to work the day shift and Ariel took her place that night, but the original crew had been planning a surprise for me for over a week. I received a beautiful chocolate cake, flowers, a sweet card and five balloons! I was completely overwhelmed!! They went to so much work to make my night outstanding! Beth went and picked up the cake, Miss Di got my flowers, Sandy got the card, and Steph picked up the balloons... Could one ask for better people to work with?!? I certainly don't think so! Even the ones that didn't work that night made sure they told me "Happy Birthday" and that they would be thinking about me. I can't say a big enough THANK-YOU to the Wed. night crew for all that they did. I received much more than I deserve. You all are AWESOME!!!!!!
I want to thank my Mam-ma Schnell for the beautiful and very YUUMY cake she made for me. It was chocolate, of course, topped with the cutest little bee you've ever seen. She drew it off a picture and I loved it. Of course, her icing is my very favorite and I love to eat it by the spoonfuls, which makes my Mother go into convulsions!
When I got off work and came home, I found a box of chocolates that were handmade especially for me by Sister Flanagan! Her and Brother Flanagan gave me the sweetest card, too! I can't even begin to list everything that everyone did, but from my family, Jeff , Grace, and Nathan, and Flanagans to Bethany in North Carolina, to Dan and Gina in Pennsylvania, Everyone was incredible and did way too much!! Just wanted to take this time to let you all know that you are loved and greatly appreciated!! So, THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU to EVERYONE who made my seventeenth Birthday the greatest one yet!!!
To sum this post all up I feel like this. Incredibly Thankful to God for giving me the best family and friends, Totally overwhelmed by every one's generosity, and... surrounded by God's love and the love from all of you.

Seriously, I just wanted to wish you a very happy birthday. So hard to believe that 17 years have passed since you were that tiny baby... time goes by so quickly but every minute I have had being your Mom has been priceless. I could never thank God enough for sending me my beautiful daughter.

You are always there for me and I want you to know how proud I am to be called your Mom.

I really am still here!!!

Hello everybody! I know, I know its been a week since I posted, but I must admit, these last couple weeks have been CRAZY!!!! I have been working alot at DQ, and with school my days have been full, but happy! Plus all that have the storm cloud of stress hanging over my head, for I have an English Test coming this week!LOL!!
Well, as most of you if not all of you know, My Birthday is in 4 more days! I am getting pretty excited! If you need my address or anything let me know...LOL!!! Just Kidding! I promise to post some Birthday pictures of my presents etc.! Wish all of you were here to share my special day!
As for an update on Graduation, My invitations and cap and gown are ordered! The invitations are beautiful!!! All of you will get one so don't worry about what it looks like, you'll know soon enough!! smile!! I decided on white daisies and mini yellow carnations for the flowers. I have decided on many other things, but I am not going to share anything else right now! grin! If I give you too much info you'll think you don't have to come for the "Commencement Exercises" and I can't let you think that! smile!!
I cannot let you go without giving you my Scripture Saturday tidbit. For the Scripture I would like to use Psalms 42:1 KJV

How very true that is for me!! I long to know God in all His fullness and glory. He is everything that I need and want! There is no other way that holds any interest to me. I have seen the way the devil works in other people's lives, wrecking them and destroying their hope. Jesus answered my hearts cry and brought me out from the pit of darkness and sin! Is it any wonder that I love Him and want to serve Him? The song, "As A Deer," basically says exactly how I feel. I pray that this verse and this song will speak to your heart just as it has to mine!

I cannot finish this post without saying a belated Happy 5th Birthday to Emily! I Love you, Emmy Lane, and hope and pray that you will always follow Jesus!!

Also, remember Dan, Gina, and Baby Hellmann in prayer. They had some problems this week and need our continued prayers for God's help.
